I was going through some old photos and keepsakes I had the other day and came across this bookmark I made for my beehives back when I was a Sunday School teacher. These are the lyrics of a song my mom and dad wrote for my older brother when he left on his mission, and it has always been something I have treasured my whole life. This song is based on missionary work and is told through the eyes of someone in the pre-existence. They are speaking to their best friend who will live a life in the church, and grow and eventually serve a mission. They are asking their friend to find them and share the gospel and bring it into their life when they meet again on Earth. I think this has been especially important to me lately since I just recently gave a close nonmember friend a Book of Mormon for the first time. It was by far the scariest thing I have ever done, but I couldn't stop thinking about her and how she needed a chance to hear about the gospel. I love this song so much! I get super emotional almost every time I listen to the words and the message my parents were trying to express. If there's someone in your life you've been considering sharing the gospel with for a while, please do it! It is so so SO scary, but I promise it's worth it and you'll feel nothing but regret the longer you wait, put it off, and ignore that feeling. There are people out there ready to hear about the church and this song inspires me to help in anyway I can!
