The name that an angel directed Joseph to give Mary's son emphasizes what He came to do. The name Yehoshua, which through the Greek came into English as "Jesus," means "Jehovah is salvation."

I. Love. Christmas! This year in particular is so special for me because I get to be surrounded by my wonderful family! It's my baby nephew's first Christmas, and my little brother's last Christmas before his mission. Being away from family for so long gives me a special love and appreciation for them that I somehow lacked growing up while being surrounded by them constantly.
I tried to focus a lot more on the Savior this month and all his selfless actions he performed throughout his mortal life. I'm so glad I've been able to strengthen my love and testimony for him and have constant reminders everywhere I look to keep my thoughts directed towards him during this season.
MY FAVORITE CHRISTMAS MEMORIES
1. SInging carols around the piano with the Crockett family
2. Blackburn family tradition: No exceptions, only one gift at a time :)
3. Cutting down/Decorating the tree
4. Caroling gigs with Dynamics Choir in high school
5. White hot chocolate
6. Christmas with cousins at grandma's house
7. Visiting grandparents graves Christmas morning
8. How the Grinch Stole Christmas
9. Christmas cookie ninjas
10. Buying Mitch presents one month early, and then giving them to him one month early because I can't take it!
