RanT

The coolness in the air of the dark night sends a shiver up your spine. Your heart races as you look straight into the eyes of the gruesome monsters surrounding you. The glowing jack-o-lanterns grin as you pass by and off in the distance you hear an echo of high pitched screams shouting, "TRICK OR TREAT!" Yes, yes, it's Halloween night.
Enjoy all the spooky decorations of orange and black, the spider webs, the costumes, and the candy.
 ... FOR .2 SECONDS!
You don't get a moment to catch your breath because LITERALLY, November 1st. BAM!!! ...Christmas commercials.
"Hello, I'm a Christmas commercial and I want your money. Not a moment to lose! Hurry before you forget that Christmas is in 54 days!"

So frustrating. I walked into work today and they already have our kiosk decorated with Christmas ornaments. Bleh! Come on.

I'm not a Christmas hater! Once December hits, I'll be decking my halls with boughs of holly! But for now, the materialistic side of the holidays has gotten way out of control! Someone please tell Santa to take a chill pill!

  1. agreed, I put 200% of energy into christmas celebrations... if I started before the day after thanksgiving Id have no christmas joy left by the time christmas started.
Although my little heart did get excited today about christmas... then it got sad when I realized it's november 2nd... just makes time go by even slower when they decorate early! Does it make me a hypocrite that ben is getting his one and maybe only christmas gift next week though?
