The other day we went on a hike out by Red Rock. On our way to the top we stopped for a while to eat lunch. Mitch kept on going, and I decided to sit by myself and write...
How is it that nature can allow you to become perfectly in-tune with the hidden meaning of life, yet still leave you with so much unanswered?
I'm given a glimpse into a bigger picture that my mortal eyes still can't quite focus on completely, like the aftertaste from a deja vu flash of a memory. My fingers reach out, trying to nudge something mystical, and touch more of a liquid matter than the solid texture it so curiously desires. My mind journeys to this mysterious atmosphere in search for something intangible, like trying to imagine a color that you’ve never witnessed before.
I have this feeling soaking in my soul that echoes to me repeatedly, "You'll find it someday. It is your destiny."
