KeNnY's MiSsIoN PaCkAgE

So, I haven't been the best sister lately.  Kenny's been on his mission for almost a year now and I think I've sent him MAYBE two packages?  I decided I needed to step it up and send him something to brighten his day!
I was kind of a mean sister when we were growing up.  I would make him wear dresses and put on concerts with me even though I knew he hated it.  So I figured missionary packages would be a good way to try and make it up to him.
P.S. Did I just say almost a year? He left for Brazil the beginning of September!  Can you believe he's almost half way done?!?

First thing I did was print him out a recipe of something from home.  I wanted to try and make him a little trunky!  Whenever I'm homesick, nothing can be more comforting than familiar food.  So, I sent my homemade IN-N-OUT Animal Style French Fries recipe I've been working on.

I also wanted to throw in something spiritual, so I found a bunch of great General Conference quotes online and printed them out.  I also snuck in a picture of Mitch's nasty mustache and had him sign it... for inspiration.  Weird, but Kenny understands our special humor.

Then we made him a music mix.  Since all he can listen to is church music, we figured we'd give him something else to play besides Mo Tab.  I threw on some of my favorite EFY songs and some of mom's church music.  The first track is an audio letter from me and Mitch.  We told him we loved him, gave him some updates, and tried to make him laugh.
I remember one of the best parts when Adam was on his mission was when he'd send home some tapes he recorded.  Listening to his voice always made him seem not as far away to me.

This was so fun!  I printed out the list of everyone who responded to my Facebook message for him to see so he knew he was loved back home!

We threw in some of his favorite candies and snacks and stamped that baby!  Just found out today that he got it!  Woo Hoo!  Hopefully it made him smile :)  Can't wait for him to come home.
